On ITV this morning the odious Katie Hopkins railed against parents who complained at the rapid increase in chilodcare costs- "Children are an investment for your future, one makes a choice, one can have an Austin Martin or a baby, one can't always have both."
Let it be clear, I love my children dearly. But nobody ever told me 19 years ago that there was a choice.
